Ok I have a floor plan of a factory with detailed 2d plan views of equipment positioned in the floor plan the machines have been inserted as external blocks and exploded what I want to do is just create an outline of the equipment for further documentation any ideas on a quick method to do this short of copy and paste into a new drawing of equipment then erasing all the extra data which will be a long pain does this make sense?
