Thanks, Darren. Yes, I had a bit of trouble figuring out the order of the cards as well. It is possible to compare the cards with the doors, since the symbol on each door matches one of the cards.
It will help to remember the order of the rooms you visited to solve this puzzle. Yes I beat it finally, I would just type down everything you need to know here but that takes the fun out of it! There doesn't seem to be any way to know what things will or wont have something hidden in them or be important, so we just click on everything gathering puzzle pieces until we encounter a puzzle like the combination to the safe or the order of the cards , then we get a chance to think a bit.
